Show Notes for MM#35, Season 26, Episode 1

We've all been there. Around the end of August, you start dreaming of how lovely the holiday season will be this year. You have visions of cozy nights spent around the fire, special pajama Christmas light rides, hosting a holiday party and having all the gifts purchased and wrapped early in December so you can really savor the season.

Then you blink and suddenly the calendar reads November 29th, you're unprepared for the holiday hustle that's bearing down on you, and you go into survival mode. You blink again, it's January, and all of December seems like a blur.

After adjusting our expectations for what we can reasonably hope to accomplish, the next way we can avoid loosing sight of the season is to start making room NOW for the things that line up with our personal values when it comes to celebrating the holidays.

In this series we are discussing making room in your home, budget, schedule and heart.

In the first installment, I discuss making room in your home so that you can practice gracious hospitality throughout the season. I've made a little checklist to help you. Be sure to listen to this short episode for more detailed information on each of the areas listed on this guide.
