JUMP TO RESOURCES

After a short update on what's coming in Season 26, I introduce you to In-the-Trenches Homemaker, Rosemary Young, who is making a home in the midwest of the United States with her husband and little girl.

Rose shares all about her journey of homemaking so far; including her transition from working outside the home full time, to coming home just in time for an out of state move and the birth of their daughter! Those early months of so much newness were pretty challenging and Rose shares how she learned to really depend on the Lord and find contentment in Him.

We also cover the usual ground of strengths, weaknesses, hospitality, wins, fails, tips and more.

Scripture Mentioned:

  • 1 Timothy 6:6 "But godliness with contentment is great gain."

  • 2 Corinthians 8:9 "For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ: Though he was rich, for your sake he became poor, so that by his poverty you might become rich."

Signature Dish: Rosemary's mom handed down this recipe, origianlly from the back of a margarine box. She has made it her own and substituted coconut sugar for the brown sugar. Her tip to success is not to over bake the cookies!
