When Joi Welch tells her homemaking story you can't help but smile. Her joy for home, family, hospitality and living well on less is contagious. Her current residence is a very modest 600 square feet, but her eye for design and her organization skills lend an airy and expansive feel to this cozy cottage.
Joi's homemaking career has spanned several decades full of challenges and growth. From cooking for college roommates to feeding family, friends and neighbors, she has experienced the most growth in her kitchen skills ---- to the extent that she now regularly cooks for 50 or so guests at her family's retreat ranch. In true homemaker fashion she is passing on what she's learned by giving us a copy of a favorite family recipe; Peanut Butter Pie (PDF below).
